Polocrosse is a team sport that is a combination of polo and lacrosse. It is played outside, on a field (the pitch), on horseback.

Our Polocrosse Lesson can be for 1 person or up to 6 people. Please note for a group of 4 or more, bookings will need to be made through the office. Call 0427255291.

Lessons are tailored to suit each individual and their capabilities and are aimed at helping participants learn the sport or advance to the next level or grade. Our popular polocrosse field is well used and lessons are renowned for being fun and enjoyable.

Wondering how to prepare for your ride? 

The wearing of Helmets is compulsory, and these will be provided by Jarrahdale Equestrian if you don’t already have your own. Long hair must be tied back and we recommend a simple plait or low pony tail.

Please come dressed to ride, wearing full length pants (jeans/leggings etc) and closed in shoes with a slight heel and a smooth sole, sneakers will be suitable. Singlets or shorts are NOT safe to ride in, if wearing incorrect attire you will not be permitted to ride and your ride will be cancelled, with no refund applicable.

You will need to register as a rider with us prior to your ride. If you do this online and fill out your insurance forms before you arrive it will save time on the day, otherwise make sure to give yourself additional time to complete this out here at the stables to avoid cutting into your ride time. https://jarrahdaleequestrian.com.au/register/

Due to the high risk nature of Horse Riding, pregnant riders will not be permitted to ride, no exceptions, and no refunds offered. Reschedule available with a minimum of 1 business days notice (business days: Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm). Failure to notify Jarrahdale Equestrian of rider pregnancy will waive any and all liability for Jarrahdale Equestrian. Please contact Jarrahdale Equestrian will any questions or for further detail

Weather Conditions

We ride in all weather so please prepare yourself appropriately for the conditions. 

In Summer this includes bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your lesson. Wearing sunscreen on your face and arms and being dressed in long sleeves to protect you from the sun. 

In winter bringing or wearing a raincoat and some water to stay hydrated.

Please understand that all bookings are non refundable and we require 1 business days notice for rescheduling otherwise full fare is due. This is so we can feed our wonderful horses and pay our gorgeous pink ladies (staff). Business days/hours are Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm so all changes need to made within these hours. We appreciate your understanding.

Our rides will start on time and be limited to the session you have booked so we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early for all session. If arriving late your session will not be extended and you will be cutting into your ride time. No refund will be applicable for shorter sessions.

Gift voucher validity is 3 years from the date of purchase, as stated on voucher. If redeeming gift voucher within 6 months any price rises in that time are waived. If redeeming voucher after 6 months has passed all differences in price will be charged to the rider and collected at time of booking.
